Good evening, I hope you are all well.
This evenings blog post is about the Mac coat. If you fashion lovers haven’t already noticed the Mac has made a come back this spring and I’m very happy about it. Its a true wardrobe staple.
I remember having a pink Mac as a child, I was around 10 or 11 id say and I begged my mam to buy it for me in dunnes stores. It was baby pink and had a belt around the waist. I loved it so much. Wish I had a pic of it now to show you. So as a nod to my 11 year old self I have put together a few of my faves on the high street at the minute for you all.
I picked up this one from River Island you can buy it HERE and is also available in Rust (which is on sale)
I bought this one because its a piece that will go with almost anything in my wardrobe from Jeans to dresses. Its lightweight so perfect for spring and I loved the cut and length on me when I tried it on.
I obviously had to add a pink one for nostalgic reasons and because I secretly think I need to buy this one too. This one is from New look, its on sale (even better) and you can buy it HERE.
Love this one. Its something a little different but still staying with a neutral palette. This olive green is easy to wear, suiting most skin tones unlike the stone coloured mac which may wash-out lighter skin tones. This one is also from newlook and comes in stone and rust. All colours are on sale and are available HERE
This fab navy number is from ASOS and can be found HERE
Finally I had to go with the classic camel/stone coloured mac. Its definitely what comes to mind when you hear the word Mac ( “LOL” who am I trying to kid, the burger is what I always think of) You can buy this one HERE (yes its a link to the coat although I do wish you could just order from Mc Donald’s by clicking a link)
So that’s it from me. I hope you enjoyed my top picks. I’m away to get something to eat, who knew writing about a style of coat could make you so hungry.
