I hope you are all well. As “fashion week” has been the word on everyone’s lips, I have decided to bring you my top 5 Autumn/Winter 2017 trends. I will be sharing my tips on how to make each trend super wearable and helping you stay on trend this season.
NO.1 Knit and Midi skirt trend
This first trend is one I know I am going to love. We have seen this trend on the catwalk’s of Dior and balenciaga. It’s all about pairing your cozy knitted jumpers with your midi skirts. You can choose a fitted midi skirt and a pair of court heels for a sophisticated office/work look or a floaty pleated midi skirt with boots for a more pretty everyday look.
NO 2. RED TO TOE
The next Trend that most definitely caught my eye is the “Red to toe” trend. This one was showcased on the catwalks of Fendi and Max Mara making it the colour of Autumn/ Winter 2017. Although this full on red outfit won’t be for everyone, there’s no getting away from the colour itself. Its popping up all over the high street. Why not simply add a splash of red into your outfit by adding some red boots or a statement red handbag for a not so in your face nod to the trend.

NO 3. THE WOMANLY WAIST
This trend is all about celebrating the womanly form. This trend was seen across so many of the catwalks including Miu Miu, Hermes and Louis Vuitton. They each cinched in the waist using belts to enhance the feminine shape. An easy way to style this trend into your wardrobe is to invest in a belted coat. Belted coats and wide waist belts can be found right across the high street, in shops such as Topshop and River Island.

NO.4 FAUX FUR
You’re in look this season if you already have a faux fur coat tucked away in your wardrobe waiting for those colder days. The 2017 Catwalks were filled with Designers such as Fendi, Vera Wang and Burberry showing off their fur coats. The fur trend didn’t just stop at coats though. Thanks to Alexander Wang, Michael kors and Fendi, Faux fur handbags have now become a thing. If full on faux fur’s not your style, then why not just add a faux fur scarf to your belted coat for two trends in one.
NO.5 THE 70’s
Chloe, Max Mara and Prada are throwing us right back to the 70’s. Think shearling coats, floral two pieces and dresses, and Corduroy trousers. The toffee caramel and camel tones of this trend make it so easy to wear. Inject a little 70’s vibes into your Autumn/ Winter wardrobe with a corduroy skirt paired with some boots.
So that’s it for my top 5 trends for Autumn/Winter 2017. I hope you enjoyed my tips on how to easily incorporate them into your wardrobe this season.
Until next time.
